Titled APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
B. App. Sc.(Physio), Post Grad. Dip. Manip. Therapy (Musculoskeletal)

With more than 25 years’ specialty experience as a Titled APA Musculoskeletal (Spinal Manipulative) Physio, Paul has been awarded a prize for clinical excellence and was recently a contributor to international research into treatment of spinal pain. He’s been the Team Physio for the Belmont Sunday League football team & the State Basketball League Albany Raiders, Men’s and Women’s teams, for seven years.

Previous experience also includes working at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for 2 years. He regularly attends professional development courses and conferences (including traveling interstate or overseas on fifteen occasions).  Special interests include neck and back treatment.

Paul has wide experience in health promotion and has conducted many ergonomic and sports workshops. He founded HealthiERGO, which has assisted many companies across the Great Southern regarding Workplace Ergonomics.


B. (Physiotherapy)

Anni graduated in 2009 after studying at the Saimaa University of Applied Sciences (Finland). Since then she has worked in a number of areas including Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Neurological physiotherapy.

She worked in Private Practice in Queensland prior to having her two children. Anni joined the team at Albany Physiotherapy in 2018, and has continued with her studies including several continuing education physiotherapy courses.

Anni also speaks Finnish and Swedish.


B. Sc.(Physio)

Wes has owned his own practice in Perth (Baseline Physio) after working several years in private practice. In that time, he worked with elite athletes across sporting codes such as hockey, golf, netball and basketball.

​He has also been the official team physio for the Lakeside Lightning State Basketball League team, whilst also making himself available through his room inside the Lakeside Recreation Centre.

Outside of work Wes plays various sports such as basketball, golf, ultimate frisbee and indoor soccer.


B. Sc.(Physio)

Emma joined Albany Physio after graduating from Curtin University in 2013. Since then she has worked with us, as well as having additional community roles including being the Albany-based physiotherapist for Silver Chain,  the Bethel Hostel Aged Care physiotherapist. Emma is the mobile physiotherapist for us at Albany Physiotherapy, assisting people with home-based treatment and rehabilitation.

Emma’s employment history includes being a Community Support Worker at Autism Association and a Teacher’s Aid in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is conversant in Brazilian Portuguese (written and spoken) and has moderate proficiency in Spanish.


Remedial Massage Therapist
Diploma of Remedial Massage, Certificate IV Massage Therapy)

Peta is a qualified remedial masseuse who is famous in Albany for her strong but relaxing hands.

She specialises in several different types of massage. They include Myofascial Therapy, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point work, Remedial Massage, Acupressure, in addition to Head, Facial and Foot massage.

Aisha is passionate about Remedial Massage Therapy and being able to deliver the many beneficial effects that result from the following modalities : Swedish massage, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Myofascial, Acupressure, Head, Facial and Foot massage.  Her volunteer work has included providing Massage Therapy for the Albany Hospice, the MS Swim and The Relay for Life.

Aisha has a broad base of interests with other qualifications in Art & Design, and Information Technology. She is conversant in Chinese and has moderate proficiency in Malay.
