Terms and Conditions

Our dedicated team of skilled physiotherapists is here to support your journey to wellbeing. With expertise and compassion, we are committed to helping you achieve your health and mobility goals. If you have any queries regarding the services we provide or information relating to our fee schedule, please phone the clinic and our admin team will assist you.

Attendance
Please arrive on time to your appointment; late arrivals inconvenience your physiotherapist, our admin staff, and those waiting after you. If you are attending the clinic for the first time, please arrive ten minutes early to ensure you have adequate time to fill out the required consent forms.

Billing
Albany Physiotherapy is a private practice and we therefore do not bulk bill. All appointments must be paid for in full on the day of treatment; if you fail to do so, a $5 administration fee will be charged.

Late Cancellations & Non-Attendance
When you book an appointment at our clinic, we allocate that time solely to your treatment and care. This also includes time spent by our physiotherapists preparing your clinical notes and treatment plan. Late cancellations or missed appointments exclude others from receiving treatment and inconvenience your physiotherapist, our admin staff, and other clients who are waiting, either in the clinic or on our waitlists.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please phone the clinic as soon as possible; if your call is outside of business hours, please leave a message for our reception staff and it will be actioned as a priority on the next business day.

With this in mind, our cancellation and non-attendance policy is as follows: if you fail to attend your appointment, or do not cancel more than two hours prior to your scheduled appointment time, a $50 fee will be charged. This cannot be covered by any health fund or third party and is the sole responsibility of the client. We understand and acknowledge that unforeseen, extenuating circumstances do occur, so if this is the case, please advise our reception staff as soon as possible.
