At our clinic, we offer a comprehensive range of modalities to provide our patients with the best possible care. We use various tools and techniques to alleviate pain, improve circulation, and stimulate healing.

Some of our offerings include

High Power Laser Therapy (HPL/Class 4 Laser):
A medical treatment that uses focused light to stimulate photobiomodulation, or PBM. During PBM, photons enter the tissue and interact with the mitochondria to increase cellular metabolism, decrease pain, reduce muscle spasms, and improve microcirculation to injured tissue. This treatment is a non-invasive and non-pharmacological alternative for pain relief. We are currently the only clinic in the Great Southern region to offer this service.

Low-Level Laser Therapy (Class 3B Laser):
Utilises photobiomodulation (PBM) to assist in tissue repair, promote regeneration of different tissues and nerves, and reduce pain and inflammation. Similar to High Power Laser, however, the power output is less than 0.5 Watts. This creates no heat on the skin’s surface and absorbs more superficially.

Dry Needling:
Dry needling involves using acupuncture needles that are inserted into the skin and muscles to alleviate myofascial pain. Needling is aimed at trigger points, which are hyperirritable spots in the skeletal muscle and can be palpated as ‘knots’. Dry needling has been shown to decrease muscle tone and pain, and increase range of motion.

Therapeutic Ultrasound:
Assists tissue healing during the inflammatory, proliferative and repair phases. Therapeutic ultrasound can provide deep heating to soft tissue to increase blood circulation or to cause rapid contraction and expansion of microscopic gas bubbles (cavitation method) around injured tissue to expedite the healing process.
